Matter
Matter is all around you. Your bed, your
dog,
even the air you breathe, are all made of matter.
gases and liquids.
Matter takes on different forms, known as the
states of matter.
You probably already know about solids, gases
and liquids, right?

matter is made of molecules and molecules are made of one or more atoms .... when atoms put together formed MOLECULES...
MOLECULES TOGETHER FORM MATTER.

MATTER CAN CHANGE

CHANGES IN STATES OF MATTER
MATTER CHANGE WHEN IS HEATED OR COOLED

FROM SOLIDS TO LIQUIDS
MELTING
molecules gain energy and start moving faster, sliding over each other.
FROM LIQUIDS TO GAS
EVAPORATION
molecules gain energy and start moving faster, molecules spread through out the space.

FROM GAS TO LIQUID
CONDENSATION
Molecules lose energy, packed close together sliding over each other.
FROM LIQUID TO GAS
FREEZING
Molecules lose energy, packed very close to each other not moving around but vibrating.

evaporation

freezing
